“The Power of Kundalini Yoga lies in the actual experience. It goes right into your heart and extends your consciousness so you may have a wider horizon of grace and knowing the truth.” ~ Yogi Bhajan
A new yoga class is being offered at The Healing Center. It is a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation class as taught by Yogi Bhajan®. It is a lunch time class from 12:08 – 12:58 (like you ate) – it will nourish your soul. It is being taught by Lakshmi Sirois, who is a certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor, along with being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. Lakshmi establishes a safe, non-judgmental and supportive class for beginners while providing opportunities to challenge the more experienced student.
You may not know there are different types of yoga classes and you may be wondering what a “Kundalini Yoga” class is. Kundalini Yoga is different from other kinds of yoga in that it is dynamic, using rhythmic movements and breaths along with held postures and it involves and improves physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of students. Kundalini means awareness and Yoga means union. The first class you attend is free, and then each class is $14, so show up and experience it for your self.
