October is the loveliest of months here in New England! As noted garden designer and writer Elizabeth Lawrence once said, “Even if something is left undone, everyone must take time to sit still and watch the leaves turn.” As importantly, even if something is left undone, you need to take care of yourself. And what better way than with a session or class at The Healing Center? Our practitioners offer services ranging from Reiki, Integrated Reflexology, Healing Touch and Massage to Meditation and Intuitive Readings & Healings . Read about our practitioners and their offerings here. Check out this week’s personal growth, healing and certification happenings as well as our regular weekly and monthly community events. And don’t forget to take a look at our monthly specials page! We are committed to improving the quality of life in Beverly. We will be at Beverly’s Farmers Market on Monday, October 6th. Our goal is to raise money for our local Beverly Bootstraps Food Pantry. Most of us think of donating food over the holidays, but there is always a need!. Our student and professional Reiki volunteers will be available from 3:00-7:00 p.m. to give 5-10 minute chair Reiki sessions in exchange for your donation toward this cause. (Suggested donation $1/minute.) So stop by to see us at Veteran’s Park (between the Beverly Depot and the Beverly Post Office) when you go to the Farmers Market to buy your fresh produce and other local foods. If you commute by train, get off at Beverly Depot and find us across the street. Experience chair Reiki, melt all your workday stress away and do something good for the community at the same time! Then get back on the next train to head for your usual stop. Year round we have a donation box in our lobby for non-perishable food donations that are brought to Beverly Bootstraps Food Pantry monthly. (CLICK HERE to see the 10 most needed food items.) Thank you for helping us with our commitment to the Beverly community! We look forward to connecting with you! We are located at 234 Cabot Street, 2nd floor, Beverly, MA, 01915. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 978-338-5571. PRACTITIONERS: We are expanding and looking for new colleagues! Find out about membership here.
